Truffle Melbourne’s 2014 Truffle Season Program begins with parties to celebrate arrival of the truffles. Our truffle hunts begin on 21st June and run through to August.
Then, the largest collection of French black truffles that Melbourne’s ever seen greets festival goers at Caulfield Racecourse this winter. On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July Caulfield becomes a truffle temple!
Your Caulfield entry ticket includes a fresh truffle taste on arrival. Inside, unique fresh truffle dishes from Chef Philippe Mouchel to experience. Great chefs demonstrating inventive truffle dishes, and how to prepare truffles at home the easy way. Truffles and truffled artisan produce for sale, some with free tastings. Produce from cheese to charcuterie. Truffle tales from across the country and around the globe. A Champagne, Caviar & Truffles Bar, mock truffle dog hunts, banquets and feasts round out the picture.
